Heather began in the medical field at age 17 after a rare cancer diagnosis at 15 sparked her passion for helping others. She became a registered nurse in 2005 and spent many years serving locally as an ER nurse and forensic sexual assault nurse examiner. Through that experience, she came to believe that better primary care begins with addressing root causes, supporting wellness, and helping people take an active role in their health. Heather is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a Doctorate and Master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University. She began practicing as an NP in early 2018, receiving mentorship from physicians, nurse practitioners, a nutritionist, and a physical therapist, while also serving as a medical director. In 2022, she transitioned into private practice to focus on integrative medicine, offering both conventional and holistic care options. She opened Resolute Integrative Health in 2024 out of continued concern for the direction of corporate healthcare. Heather treats the whole family and has advanced training through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, along with ongoing education in functional medicine, men’s health, addiction recovery, and mental health. She is also a member of The Menopause Society and holds the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner credential. Heather’s approach goes beyond symptoms to focus on the whole person. Her provider-patient relationships are built on shared decision-making, safety, education, and encouragement, empowering each patient to be resolute in their wellbeing. Heather lives on a hobby farm in rural Rogue River with her law enforcement husband of 24 years and their children. Since moving to the area in 2015, their family has been actively involved in the community through various volunteer efforts. Fun Fact: Heather is a beekeeper.
