Frequently Asked Questions

About Resolute Integrative Health

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

Direct Primary Care is a membership-based healthcare model where you pay a flat monthly fee for access to your provider. This removes the need to bill insurance for each visit, allowing for longer appointments, more personalized care, and direct communication without the usual barriers.

What makes Resolute Integrative Health different from a traditional clinic?

Resolute Integrative Health is built on a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, which means your care is centered around access, time, and a direct relationship with your provider. Instead of short, insurance-driven visits, you get longer appointments, faster scheduling, and care that focuses on understanding the root cause of your concerns, not just managing symptoms.

Do you replace my primary care doctor?

Yes—Resolute Integrative Health is designed to serve as your primary care provider. You can come here for routine care, urgent concerns, chronic condition management, and preventative health.

Membership & Pricing

What does the membership include?

Your membership includes access to your provider, longer appointments, same-day or next-day scheduling for urgent needs, preventative care, and ongoing support for both acute and chronic conditions.

Are there any additional costs beyond the monthly fee?

Most care is included in your membership. Additional costs may apply for advanced lab testing, specialized treatments, or medications, depending on your needs.

Do you still use insurance at all?

We do not bill insurance for visits. However, you can still use your insurance for services outside the clinic, such as lab work, imaging, prescriptions, or specialist referrals if needed.

Can I use my HSA or FSA for membership?

Usually, yes. Beginning January 1, 2026, Health Savings Accounts may be used for qualifying Direct Primary Care membership payments. Many FSA plans may also allow DPC-related payments, but coverage can vary by plan administrator.

We recommend checking with your HSA/FSA provider or benefits administrator to confirm how your specific account handles Direct Primary Care membership fees.

Do you accept Medicaid?

No. Resolute Integrative Health does not bill Medicaid for Direct Primary Care membership. In some cases, Medicaid patients may still choose to use our clinic as a secondary support option for specific services or needs outside their standard coverage.

For primary membership care, patients are responsible for membership fees directly.

Can I use this with a high-deductible insurance plan?

Yes. Many patients pair Direct Primary Care with a high-deductible insurance plan to cover major medical needs while using their membership for everyday primary care, urgent concerns, preventative care, and ongoing provider access.

Is this worth it if I rarely go to the doctor?

Many patients find value in having immediate access to care when something comes up, as well as the ability to address concerns early, before they become more serious or costly.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes. Your membership is structured as a rolling six-month agreement, but you are not locked into care you no longer need. If you cancel before the end of your current six-month term, an adjusted balance may be due according to the terms of your patient contract.

Resolute+ Membership

What is Resolute+ Membership?

Resolute+ is an enhanced level of care built on top of your Direct Primary Care membership for those with more complex medical needs. It includes deeper investigation, advanced lab testing, and more personalized health optimization strategies.

Who should consider Resolute+?

Patients with ongoing or complex concerns, hormone imbalances, or those looking for a more proactive, data-driven approach to their health often benefit most from Resolute+.

Is Resolute+ required?

No. Most patients start with the standard membership and can choose to upgrade if they want a deeper level of care.

Appointments & Access

How quickly can I get an appointment?

Most patients can be seen same-day or next-day for urgent concerns. Routine visits are also scheduled with minimal wait times compared to traditional clinics.

How long are appointments?

Appointments typically last 30-60 minutes, allowing time to fully discuss your concerns and create a thoughtful care plan.

Can I contact my provider outside of appointments?

Yes. Members have direct access to their provider for questions, follow-ups, and guidance between visits. You can also text your provider when appropriate, which can save time, support quicker communication, and help avoid unnecessary in-office appointments.

Do you offer virtual visits?

Yes. Telehealth can be used for follow-ups, certain conditions, and ongoing care when appropriate and when commuting to the clinic may be unnecessary.

Services & Care Approach

What types of conditions do you treat?

We provide care for a wide range of needs, including preventative care, acute illness, chronic conditions, hormone imbalances, and general health concerns.

What is the difference between integrative and functional medicine?

Integrative medicine combines conventional care with holistic approaches like lifestyle and nutrition. Functional medicine goes deeper into identifying root causes, often using advanced testing and detailed analysis to guide treatment.

Do you prescribe medications?

Yes. When appropriate, medications are part of your care plan and are managed directly with your provider to ensure the best outcomes.

Do you offer lab testing?

Yes. Basic labs can be coordinated as part of your care, and advanced testing is available when deeper investigation is needed.

It’s helpful but not required. We can request records if needed or start fresh and build your health profile over time.

Can I use this with a high-deductible insurance plan?
